The Backstory

I had been freelancing as a designer for several years when I noticed a pattern with my clients. People would hire me to do a task (say, designing a packaging suite), and during the design process we would end up talking about their struggles with their business. Sometimes for hours!

The people who needed this the most were the first-time entrepreneurs taking the leap. They were scared, or overwhelmed. Their friends and family didn’t “get it”. There was a gap in the support system for someone that would listen. Someone to ask good questions. Someone on their side, with no doubts of their ability to do their thing.

As a lifelong artist myself, I understood the creative struggles of my clients as they fought to bring their visions to life. And over time I realized: there are tons of people out there who will can design logos and packages and products as well as me, if not better. But the value I provided wasn’t in the design. It was in my support of my clients’ success.

In 2022, I began the process of gaining my accreditation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), of which I am an active member. Today, I am proud to help a diverse group of clients take their own leap to lead their most fulfilling creative lives. I anticipate completing my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential in 2023.
